Finding your way can be tough. We're here to help.
Our Resource Navigators go above and beyond in assisting clients with local services. It’s one thing to give someone the name and number of a local service agency, it is quite another to show them how to use those services.
When we got started in this work, we called ourselves "resource coordinators." We found resources in the community to help our clients, passed along the information and let them handle the rest. As support services became more strained following the pandemic, we realized that "coordination" was not enough. It would take more than a phone number and pat on the back to get through a crisis. Understanding how the system works and helping our clients find their way was what was needed.
When one understands the system, they can learn to help themselves and go on to help others. It is the first step to building self confidence, self reliance, and most important... stability.
